Air Fryer Donuts in only 5 Minutes!

If you do not own an Air Fryer in your life, you are doing it all wrong! My younger brother got one as a gift for my parents and we use it all the time. So, when I saw this recipe popping up I knew I had to try it out, I just made a few tweaks. I thought to myself “there’s no way it can be that easy!” And guess what – it is! These donuts will literally take you 5 minutes to make, and are very budget friendly. All you need is an air fryer, pillsbury biscuits, and your choice toppings.

Air Fryer Donuts: What You Need

  • 1 can pillsbury biscuits
  • Air Fryer

Signature Glaze

  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1/8 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Cinnamon Sugar

  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar + 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Step One:

Using a cookie cutter or other kitchen utensil, create a quarter size hole in your biscuits. Don’t toss these – you can use them to make donut holes!

Step Two:

Place the biscuits in a single layer in your air fryer. You may need to do two batches depending on the size of your air fryer and how many donuts you are making! Set to 350 degrees and cook for 5 minutes. (Donut holes only need about 2 minutes to cook!) Remove and place on a cooling rack.

Step Three:

If using the signature glaze, whisk together the milk, confectioners sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Brush your glaze on donuts while still warm. Next, coat the glaze with sprinkles or nuts. (optional)

For the cinnamon sugar donuts, melt 4 tablespoons butter in a bowl. Brush the donuts with the melted butter, then dip them into the cinnamon sugar mixture.

The possibilities for toppings are endless! Enjoy!
