Keeping up with Summer Trends When You’re on a Budget

Summer Trends on a Budget

Crochet Clothing. Crochet style clothing is an essential in my summer wardrobe. This Dusty Blue Crochet Top is from Allura Boutique, and has been my go-to top lately. Allura Boutique has a ton of cute summer clothing for super affordable prices! You don’t have to break the bank to shop the latest trends. Each of the items I am wearing (my top, sunnies, bandana, & sandals) are under $40!

┬áBandanas. Bandanas are a must-have this summer season. Whether it be in your hair, as a neck-tie, or an accessory for your bag – they are the perfect summer accessory! I also think they look super cute tied around your wrist or ankle.

Round Sunglasses. My round sunglasses are from Urban Outfitters and are now on sale for only $12. I have seriously been wearing these babies on repeat nonstop. Also, for them being only $12 they have lasted me over a year and don’t have any scratches! Although I love my Ray Bans and Quay Sunglasses, UO is my go-to place for finding affordable & cute sunnies. All of the sunnies listed below are $20 or under!

Platform Shoes. At first I wasn’t totally on board with the platform shoe trend, but now I am hooked! My platform Lola Sandals are from DSW and the best part is they are under $40. From platform espadrilles, sneakers, and sandals – I can’t get enough of this trend. I have had my eye on the Adidas Superstar Platform Sneakers for a while now, they would be so perfect for back to school! If you don’t want to break the bank, these Blush Platform Sneakers from Red Dress Boutique are super cute and only $22!
