DIY Hair Mask

Today I am sharing with you my go to DIY hair mask. The best part is, it only uses three ingredients, and super easy + inexpensive to make!

Lets get right into it:

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1 egg yolk

Directions:

  1. Heat up coconut oil in bowl fo 15 seconds.
  2. Mix in 1/2 an avocado and egg yolk.
  3. Stir ingredients well.
  4. Apply mixture to hair, focussing on ends.
  5. Cover with shower cap for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Shower and shampoo & condition hair as normal!

Benefits:

Coconut Oil – Helps prevent hair breakage, stimulate hair growth, and adds shine and softness! You can buy coconut oil at almost any local drugstore for under $10 – and you will definitely get your moneys worth because there are soo many uses for this product!

Avocado – Avocado is filled with Vitamin B and E and helps promote strong and healthy hair! This ingredient will moisturize your hair leaving it feeling silky and smooth.

Egg Yolk – Filled with Vitamin A, D, and E which will help dry, damaged hair to look and feel healthy and create better texture! Egg yolk will also help to reduce frizz and prevent breakage in your hair.
